Are Real Mermaids Ugly

Mermaids are Ugly

It has been said that real mermaids are not pretty. They have long claws instead of hands and fang like teeth. Where did they come from and where are they now?

The story goes that somewhere in our past a group of aliens visited our planet. These aliens were from a planet named Sea, about 80 light years away. These visitors were the predominant race on their planet. They were part plant life and part carbon and lived on land.

Although they were the predominant life form and had advanced technology, there was also another intelligent life form that lived in the oceans of their planet. The aquatic life form had long claws in place of hands and although this was perfect for skewering and cutting up their food, it hampered them in advancing their technical prowess because of the lack of finger dexterity. This life form is known as Mermaids [female] and Tritons {male}.

For some reason the aliens carried mermaids and tritons in aquariums on their spacecraft, perhaps in a bid to find a planet on which to re-house them. Anyway, these “plant beings” were ethical and would not release the mermaids on a planet that already had intelligent life forms, as it could interfere with their evolution.

However, before the aliens left Earth about 100 Mermaids and Tritons were able to escape and hide in our Oceans. The escapees however found it hard to thrive in our Oceans because of Sharks and other large sea predators, the likes of which they had not encountered on their home planet. It is said that some survived and probably today, number 1000.

It is said that the Mermaids liked the look of the human men but grew angry when they realized that they could not mate. Mermaids are not mammals, they lay eggs.

To dampen their anger at men, they try to lure them into accidents at sea. Although there have been reports that mermaids serenade the sailors, what they are actually doing is, using a form of telepathy, that dulls the sailors senses.

I have written about the only known instance of a Mermaids body having been found in my hub

Now, after an Animal Planet documentary, Animal Planet, Discovery Channel and even the US Government, according to Yahoo, are trying to convince people that Mermaids were just a hoax. I say that where there is smoke, there is fire. What is the real truth known about this supposed myth and why only now are stories coming to the surface (pun intended).
